Welcome to the Healthy Desert, Healthy You Podcast, presented by the Desert Healthcare District and Foundation!

The podcast emerged out of a strong desire to continue engaging with Coachella Valley residents and stakeholders after a robust and successful Healthy Desert, Healthy You Environmental Health Summit concluded in September 2024. The event emphasized for us the need for informed and thoughtful conversation about the community’s environmental health challenges and possible solutions.

Because we are a healthcare district whose mission is to optimize health at all stages of life for all District residents, the podcast will address a variety of health and wellness topics. We will also spotlight community partners and grantees, our Board Directors, nonprofit leaders, health experts and advocates, and many others who share the objective of improving our individual and collective quality of life.
