Healthcare District spotlights suicide prevention and more during National Mental Health Awareness Month

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. While any day is a good day to seek the mental and behavioral health services that are needed, the Desert Healthcare District and Foundation will spotlight challenges and the services and programs to address them throughout the month.

May 1-7: The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the United States. More information.
