Healthcare District invites community input on rezoning

The Board will conduct its fourth public hearing on rezoning the District from five to seven geographic zones during its monthly meeting. Each zone will have a Director who's elected to the Board.
The public hearing allows attendees to view and provide feedback on four proposed rezoning maps: Agave 2, Cholla 2, and an interactive map. Prepared by the National Demographics Corporation, the maps reflect community input from hearings in April, May and September.
The Board's goal is to ultimately approve a final map by the end of 2019. Four of the seven current Board seats will be up for election in 2020.
