District launches video series spotlighting valley food pantries

Presented by the Desert Healthcare District and Foundation, "Cooking with the District" features Vanessa Smith and Chef Mike Trost, a private Palm Springs caterer, as they select items at valley pantries to whip into tasty meals. On their latest excursion to Martha's Village and Kitchen in Indio, Chef Mike was given 60 seconds to choose foods he would turn into dishes to serve four people.
