A grant from the Desert Healthcare District & Foundation is supporting a local pharmacy's COVID-19 and flu vaccination efforts.

Coachella Valley residents can receive no-cost vaccines through grantee Coachella Valley Pharmacy through February. See the schedule of vaccination clinics near you. Residents who are uninsured or underinsured receive the vaccines for free. The clinic also accepts most health insurance plans, and there is no copay charged.

Flu Vaccine

The vaccine is available to everyone who is 8 years old and older. Senior residents are considered especially at risk and are welcome to get a vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccine

This vaccine is available to everyone who is 12 years old and older. Senior residents are considered especially at risk and are welcome to get a vaccine.

The Desert Healthcare District & Foundation has a long partnership with Coachella Valley Pharmacy, which is locally owned by Leif Anthony L. Dela Luna and Peachy Lua Dela Luna. The pharmacy was instrumental in the agency's COVID-19 response, helping to ensure that vulnerable populations received access to the vaccine and later to medication for those who tested positive.

Coachella Valley Pharmacy has locations in Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage. Learn more.
