  • Elected in November 2008

Dr. Michael R. Solomon, M.D. is a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine and is the only physician in the Coachella Valley to hold both a license in Western medicine as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine. He believes that integrating traditional (allopathic) and non-traditional (complimentary) forms of medicine gives the patient the benefit of cutting-edge technology and knowledge available to physicians as well as the ancient hands-on approaches used in the healing arts for thousands of years. His practice goals include getting people healthy and off unnecessary medications, increasing quality of life by decreasing illness and increasing their vitality, increasing the awareness and level of responsibility the patient can assume in their own wellness, and educating patients about how to best take care of their bodies. Dr Solomon believes these common sense ideas about healthcare are paramount to developing a new paradigm in medicine for the future of our community.
